Today was kind of bogus. I mean, I guess it wasn't all bad. I spent the morning messing around with HTML and Css (still not sure what I'm doing) and then I went to work. I wasn't really ready to break free from what I was doing to leave. I managed to break a piece of my site and didn't have enough time to fix it. Anyway. I got to work and when I walked up to the register to pay for my redbulls I noticed my cashier's checklist was taken down. I ask where it is, and the head cashier, CH, said "it's in the book." OK. Cool. I tell her I use it, so am I able to post it anywhere? And she says also no, per the owner. I was like, that's odd, it was M's idea to post it in the first place. (M is the assistant store manager and also one of the owners sons.) she says he's the one that told her to take it down. Okay, whatever, I'm not about to argue with a coworker let alone start my shift with that kind of bullshit so I dropped it. I still had 20 to clock in so I went next door to the dollar store and bought a clipboard to keep my checklist on. When I clocked in, CH brought up the list again saying that the owner wants everything off the walls and the counters. I told her it's cool, I have my solution and explained to her the clipboard. She reiterated the book again and I told her if it's tucked away I'll literally never think to look at it and I spent too long making it to not utilize it. She seemed to get frustrated and pulled the list out of the book and slapped it on the counter, then put it back while explaining "it's that easy" Listen lady, what's the fuckin' difference? Clip board, counter, all I know is that if it lives in the book, it dies in the book. I'm trying to work with you here ☹ Oh, and before I clocked in, I walked to the back to grab my smokes so I could chief one before my shift started because the whole list thing had me agitated and CH runs straight into me. I'm walking back and I see her start to intersect my path while she's talking to a customer so I say "excuse me" and I guess she doesn't hear me because I let out another, more urgent "EXCUSE ME" right before she smacks right into me and grabs my shoulders to steady either myself or her or both of us. Then? Like 5 minutes after she leaves to count her drawer? M comes up to the register and apologies for the conflict with CH. I was like, conflict? Like, I was a bit annoyed but I wasn't rude and didn't argue, I just asked a few questions about the list and then accepted her answers after that? Like what else am I supposed to do? I told him I was just confused because he was the one who told me to post it behind the register. Anyway M said that he knows and he's going to figure more out when he finishes counting her drawer out. I asked him later on in the day about it and he didn't have any answer for me other than "let me know if the conflict escalates" alright buddy but after all of this I'm officially stonewalling CH and staying the fuck out of her way. It's nice though, there's hardly ever any overlap so it's not like I have to actually work with her. I see her for like 15 minutes every Tuesday. Anyway. The entire thing was bogus and I'm coming for her position. I felt guilty wanting to replace her before but now I'm angry. That shit was embarassing. Its fine though. I do more work than she does around the store. She might know a lot more than me, but I'm still a rookie. I'm a fast learner. But in all likelyhood they'd probably place me at a different store if they promoted me to head cashier. I'm not sure I really want to work at a different store. I'm about to start crosstraining to be a CSR on the floor so maybe I'll work towards that instead. I just feel like I'd have less time for projects and mindless tasks that make the day go by quick. CSRs are super busy, though. Lots of hands on interaction with customers, back to back, all day. At least my interactions as a cashier are brief. What else did I do today? I reorganized the Mom & Pop soda shelf because whoever stocked it put a bunch of the same brands in random spots so it just looked half assed. That probably took me like an hour and a half or so because we were suuuuuper busy when I wanted to do it and I had to keep breaking to take care of customers or answer the phone. M came by and gave me a list for when I'm in next that I'm excited to start on because I was started to feel like I was running out of things to fill my time. I don't want to go back to pacing in circles around the checklane because I have no idea what to do. Making small laps for hours at a time is exhausting. So, I'm stoked for that. I also restocked the Mom & Pop shelf and I may or may not have embarrassed myself in front of the store OWNER while I was in the back getting the sodas. It was soooo hot today and I was sweating buckets back there. I went to wipe my forehead and knocked a bunch of cans of redbull to the floor. I immediately exhaled "motherfucker!" to myself sharply and he poked his head around the corner and said "hi!" Jesus christ. Not my finest moment but I suppose it isn't the end of the world. I just wish I wasn't so unprofessional in front of the dude that owns the place. I had a day today. I was pretty agitated. I'm so glad I don't go in tomorrow. I'm going to spend it messing around with my website some more. Maybe do some lessons. I really want the themes for my index.html and my aboutme.html to be swapped but I'm not entirely sure how my code works yet and it'd take me a million years for me to piece it together, just to ultimately end up breaking it forever ☹ so I'm going to wait until I've learned a bit more. My code looks like actual garbage trash from copying and pasting shit in as I come across it. I've also got to eventually learn how to format and annotate but I probably won't and you can't make me. I'm running out of ideas though. This is the most creative and expressive thing I've done in like a decade so I'm kind of out of my element here. What kinds of things do I write about? What do I share? I'm just going to worry about the code side of it all and see if the rest comes to me. This journal entry is a start. Anyway, I'm getting faded and sleepy so I'm going to wrap this up.

Until next time. This is Red, signing off.

I feel like I didn't finish anything I wanted to get done today. I wanted to spend the day coding and learning but I just kept getting stuck and turned around. I'm so frustrated. I made a new Joshua Graham fan page but I'm not happy with it. I don't know how to align images where I want them to be placed. I tried making a comment box this morning but that's super complicated for some reason. I can't figure out how to get the chatbox to integrate with the little widget thing I made. I just gave up. I've been having issues with focusing all freaking day so it's not like it'd do me any good to try to learn right now. I've been trying to learn all day and none of it makes any sense. I'm getting frustrated with this project, lol. Kinda not how I wanted to spend my day off but it is what it is I suppose. I did manage to get my journal terminal to display the text as if it's being typed so that's neat. I'm thinking about adding a hacking mini game like from the games that lock entries that get too personal. That way you have to work for it. I don't know, just an idea. I didn't really do much else today. Went to the store to get smokes. I've been blowing through them lately. I don't really know what to write for today. Not a lot happened.

I wish I had more guidance for this stuff. You'd think there'd be a million resources out there, and maybe there are, I'm just having a hard time finding them.

See y'all tomorrow.

I had an okay day today. Started with messing around with my website. Made a couple gallery pages. I think I might end up with a handful of those, haha. Also figured out how to position images for the most part. I don't entirely get it, but at least I have a place to start now. I was watching a video I found on YouTube while waiting to clock in for work. I'm thinking about posting it here so that maybe it can help somebody else. Or, at the very least, I'll always have a way to come back to it. I got some stuff done today. I was looking forward to coming in and reorganizing the drawers but I guess while I was off somebody else took care of it. I suspect CH saw I did the first drawer and it made her feel like she had to clean the rest of them. The only reason why I only had register 1's drawer finished is because I started running out of time and had other things I needed to prioritize before close. I don't know. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I get the feeling she doesn't take too kindly to me stepping up around the store. The only reason why I'm working so much is because I get so damn bored up there by myself all day. Working makes the time pass by faster and it sure as hell beats walking circles around the checklane for 6 hours. (which is what I was doing before I realized, I'm at work, I could actually work.) Ever since I started doing more cleaning and stuff around the store, I've noticed that more stuff started getting done while I'm gone. My first few weeks there, nobody did a damn thing unless prompted to. Lately, every time I come back from a day off something else has been cleaned or rearranged. Which is fine with me, it keeps the store looking nice and I take a lot of pride in where I work. When I started there and saw how chaotic and cluttered the registers were, I was taken aback for sure. I've never worked at a register so cluttered, so I'm really pleased with the improvement. But, my thinking is that I'm making somebody feel threatened with my initiative and I think that somebody is CH. Just a thought, like I said maybe I'm paranoid and I need everything to be about me. I've made pretty decent friends with mostly everybody else there, though. There's a few people I haven't had the chance to really acquaint myself with. But JE, JA and A are all really awesome and C is really nice to me, too. She's always showing me pictures on her phone when we have overlap lol. Let's see, what did I do today... I started with stocking the popcorn stand because I've been putting it off for at least 4 shifts now. Then I organized the backstock a bit before CHR brought me a cart full of product to check in and put away. I was stoked when I noticed it because that meant I was going to be pretty occupied for a while. So once I was finished with backstock I started on checking in all the product. I don't think it's an official process, I think it's something A made to keep track of expiration dates. I'm not even sure if anybody else uses it, but she's super sweet and it gives me something to do so I don't mind. I have to: scan the product, see how many the computer says we have on hand, copy the SKU, search an excel sheet for it and if it's in there, I update the quantity on hand and the expiration date and if it's not in there, I add it and do the same. We got some of the stuff I put on the warehouse order form but not nearly as much as I was expecting to get. There were a ton of things on that list, so I'm not even sure if anybody actually got around to ordering it all. Most of it was actually a bunch of seasonings and sauces for meat, and it was a bunch of product we didn't even have spots for, so I know I didn't order it. Anyway I checked all that stuff in and put it away. Like I said, a lot of the seasonings/sauces didn't even have places in the center aisle so I went ahead and made some room for them. The shelf wasn't originally stocked all that great so there was a ton of space I could utilize. Kind of too much space, in the end I had to spread some product out more. But I tried to keep each of them next to their corresponding brand as best as I could. I noticed that a bunch of brands were in multiple places on the shelf, just like the Mom & Pop soda shelf. So, just like the soda shelf, tomorrow I'm going to get in there and rearrange the center aisle to get those guys living with their friends. After that I took care of some more backstock. M told me the other day that he didn't like how the cardboard boxes looked on the shelf and that he wanted me to move all the backstock into green totes and label them. So that's what I did with the leftover totes from the product I received. I had just enough. Got up on a ladder, threw a bunch of boxes down, and got to work. The stupid Zebra wasn't giving me the shorter item numbers so I had to write down every SKU, then the item name and the quantity. I made nice little posters to paste on the outside of the totes and when I was done, I had two toy totes, one plushie tote, and one for hats and glasses. M was pleased, as was I. Actually, he came up to me earlier and told me I got phone shopped. I said "Uh oh, I'm terrible on the phone." He said "I wouldn't say that" and then proceeded to tell me I got 100% on all marks. That was a really good feeling. The last time I got secret shopped it ended traumatically and I don't care to elaborate. So, it was great to hear I got a 100%. The rest of the shift was okay. I got everything on my list done except for sweeping STIHL and aisle 1. I had the broom ready but I was wrapping up my current task as quick as I could to help my coworkers bring product in before close. I forgot and we brought all the product in and it happens to live where I needed to sweep. Oopsies. I'll get it tomorrow. Something happened when I finished counting my drawer down and I'm kind of on the fence about even writing it because I'm actually really embarrassed about it. M told me that 3 of my coworkers came to him today asking him if I was okay and that I was coming across as hostile on the radio. I asked him if he could give me an example so I know when it happened because I didn't recognize it myself. He said he didn't have one because he wasn't the one with the complaint but like I feel like if three different people come up with the same complaint, you've got to have some idea of the triggering event. I don't know. I'm trying to not overthink it. As much as I like to pretend I don't give a fuck what people think about me, I'm coping hard. I actually care a ton and it's really important to me that people like me. Especially my coworkers. I'm just really embarrassed. I try really hard to present myself as professional and optimistic. Anyway, there's more to that interaction. I told M I was sorry and that I wasn't trying to be hostile, that I'll be more mindful in the future and he told me that he saw me working really hard today and maybe I had a bit of tunnel vision. So, maybe silver lining? At least he acknowledged my busting of the ass? Anyway, I can't argue with the tunnel vision comment. I was pretty focused on my task at hand and I guess I was kind of moving a bit too fast. I'll do better tomorrow but boy, did hearing that kind of take the wind out of my sails. I guess I've got to be more mindful of my behaviors because this is the second time this week someboy's had an issue with me. The first time I didn't really get talked to, M just apologized for the 'conflict' with CH and I was confused about what part was the conflict. But, still. I don't like it and I want to be represented better. I've got to slow down and be more aware of how I sound when I'm responding to people. I'm taking this really hard and it's going to eat at me all night. I keep trying to tell myself it's not a huge deal and I didn't get in trouble or anything but I feel sick. Now everybody thinks I'm a shitty person and a shitty worker and I could actually throw up right now. I promise I'm trying really, really hard. ☹ Anyway. When I got home I shot a text to JE and JA apologizing for being hostile today. They both responded reassuringly and we talked a bit so I feel a little bit better, I guess. At least my friends aren't mad at me? I just know it's all I'm going to be thinking about at work for the next couple of shifts, though. Like, who said something? What did they say? Do they hate me now? I'm going to be like, hyperaware of my tone and how I'm coming across in every interaction now. Which is ANNOYING because that's what I was doing while getting to know everybody and it was EXHAUSTING. But I guess I can't get comfortable yet. Or even at all. I don't know yet. Aside from replaying all of that bullshit over and over in my head, I've been coding a little for the last couple of hours. I styled some text on my homepage and added a right panel. I'm not sure what I'm going to put in it, though. I put in a few dividers and turned my bullet points into cute little .gifs. Somehow broke the bullet points for the Status Update box and the code looks totally fine to me so it's prbably broken somewhere else and I'm not smart enough to fix it. I'm still not sure about the images I've used for my panels, but I know I'm really happy with the page background and the center panel images. I still have to align a lot of the text and I honestly don't feel like doing anything of the sort right now. I'm just going to take it easy and smoke myself stupid til I feel like taking my meds. I work tomorrow, but I don't clock in until after 1PM so I'm not stressed about sleeping in.

This entry has gotten really long. I've been writing for exactly 1 hour as of right now, actually. So, I'm going to wrap it up for the night. I'll report back tomorrow.

I just got home from work. I had an alright day today. I like to think it was better than yesterday. I felt less productive because I ran out of my vyvanse yesterday, but I still got a lot done. MI came up to me and gave me a bunch of product another store sent us to go through, put out, and backstock. I was annoyed I had to organize even more backstock because that's what I did all day yesterday, but I still got it done. After that I was talking to T about planograms and setting shelves and she told me I should go find the merch specialist, JU and ask her to be on the remodel team. I think we're remodeling next year. T offered to cover me while I found JU and asked her about it, and when I did, she seemed really excited and into the idea of having me on the team. She told me she doesn't know if she's leading this remodel yet, but if she isn't, she'll definitely recommend me. Then about 10 minutes after I get back behind register, she comes up to me wheeling a cart with a bunch of totes and told me she wanted me doing the clearance price changes. Took me maybe 2 or so hours and honestly I hated every second of it. Even had to take my break at one point because I was getting so annoyed. But I got that done, too. After that I took care of the seasonings shelf in the center aisle. Yesterday I talked about how I was going to rearrange it today, but I ran that idea by T and she told me it's set by a planogram. That's why we were talking about planograms, haha. I have no idea why a planogram wouldn't have all products under the same brand in the same section, but I've noticed that people do things way differently than standard procedure. We probably have somebody without prior knowledge of planograms making them instead of corporate taking care of them. It was like that when I worked at a vape shop, too. I had to set up shelves for cigarettes and while looking at the planogram they sent me I was thinking "what in the 'I've never worked retail a day in my life' is this?" there were so many errors I couldn't believe it, lol. Anyway, not my job so I'm not gonna worry about it too much. I don't think I got much else done after that. I was helping bring stuff inside when MI told me he wanted me to replace the honey tags. He told me I could do it after I finished helping. When I went to start on it though, I was only able to get one shelf done. My Zebra was dying and when it gets too low, it refuses to print. I asked for a charged Zebra like twice but everybody who said they'd bring me one ended up getting busy with something else. No worries, I'll do it Sunday if nobody gets to it tomorrow. A few other highlights were: after bringing in the outside product, JA offered me a Dr. Pepper. That's my favorite soda so of course I said yes. Then, he comes back with A CAN! I got all excited because nothing hits the spot more than an ice cold. Dr. Pepper from a can. It was delightful. He also gave me a ride home tonight which was nice. My mom probably appreciates it more than I do, but it's still nice to have extra time to chat with my buddies. He was nice enough to take me by the store to grab a few beers. I can only do that when I get rides home because I'm not allowed to drink at my mom's. I'm an adult, I'm nearly 27, but when I had to move back here, the first few months I was here I blew literally every cent I made on alcohol. She didn't appreciate that very much so she drew a line. I can respect that, I get it, but she'd rather I go out and spend $40-$50 versus getting a 3 pack of tall boys for $6.99 and doing it at home. I guess I kinda ruined the privilege. For the most part, I respect her boundary. But sometimes I have days where cracking open a cold one at the end of the night feels like the only suitable remedy. I'm sure you know the type. So, I sneak it. I feel like a fucking teenager, lol. I have a little safe I keep the evidence locked up in until I can ditch it. Addicts gonna addict, I'm really good at hiding stuff. Until I'm not. That's always where it seems to end up, so I try to be a good girl. My mom came in my room tonight to show me something. She's usually asleep by the time I get home but I guess she stayed up to show me this. She found a car that's suitable for me, it's $2200, has great miles and is a reasonable year. 2011. I mentioned the price being so far from what I have ($1, 450 right now) and she said that after next week's paycheck, I'll be up to around $1,800 and that I'll only be $400 away from the price. She was thinking about trying to talk my step-dad into helping me cover the rest. If that works, it would be amazing cause the car is super cute. It's a cherry red hatchback. So, fingers crossed. I also told her about the remodel thing from earlier and she seemed happy about it. I was just so nervous the entire time because I didn't tuck my beer away enough when she knocked and it was totally in her eyeline. All she had to do was look down. I was kinda hoping she'd be too old and blind to see it. But I had already drank some too and she got real close to me. I'm hoping she didn't smell anything on my breath. I even burped. I mean, she didn't say anything and I don't think she'd overlook it if she did notice, so I think we're good. Back to the ride home, I asked JA if I was better on the radio today and he said I was fine. I explained a bit of the situation and he seemed to be empathetic towards it. Had some insightful things to share. I feel a lot better about the whole thing, now. Still. Three people with the same complaint hurts my soul. I try really hard to be palatable to others and when I fail it hits me hard. All I can do is try to do better and focus on keeping my side of the street clean, I guess. I'm having a decent evening. Starting to get a nice buzz. Might put on some tunes in a bit. I've got my speaker charging right now. All in all, it was a decent day today. I just wish I wasn't so freaking tired. I don't even want to work on my website tonight. What you see is what you get. I am at capacity.

That's it for now. I might add more later. Goodnight!

Nothing exciting happened today, I just slept all day. I'm really only up to grab something to eat and then I'm probably headed back to bed. Mom came in earlier and told me that the person who owns the car she was looking at for me got back to her and told her theres a freon leak, so it's not going to be a good canididate. She also told me she talked to my stepdad about covering the rest of the cost after I get my next paycheck and he did say yes to that. It's really nice of them but it just kinda feels like they can't wait to get rid of me. I get it, I guess. Maybe I'm being too sensitive. Anyway, that's about it. I'll see y'all tomorrow.

I kinda slacked off today. I don't feel very well. I did get the cutest call. Somebody was asking for roly polies for their terrarium. Sorry bud, we don't sell bugs here. But very cute. I want to see the terrarium. MA had me make a new clearance sign for a grill and when I got off of work I took a nice nap while waiting for my honey to come and get me. We went to dinner at a Chinese buffet. It wasn't as good as it was the last time we went honestly. We ended up taking a bunch of food home. All in all a decent day :)

Thursday, July 30th, 2026, 7:30PM

Sorry I haven't written the past few days. I was spending time at my boyfriend's house and honestly didn't really feel like writing all that much. I called out on Tuesday, I said my boyfriend's truck broke down but in reality I had just burnt myself out so bad and the idea of going into work was stressing me the fuck out. I probably could've powered through but I really didn't think about it all that much, I just did it. It was my very first call out and I'm not on thin ice or anything about stuff like that, I actually do quite a bit while on shift, so I wasn't super worried about any pushback. I'm kinda glad I did but I gotta be mindful not to jump to calling out every time I feel a bit off. Can't make it a habit. Anyway today was good. Got a lot done. M came up to me and had me make a bunch of price cards for the grills. It took like half my shift in between customers. But I was happy to be doing something chill and that doesn't involve getting up and down on a ladder. I spent the rest of the time pricing some lotions and soaps and then I was told by R and M (R is the store manager) to start moving YETIs off the shelves so they can move them. Oh brother. That's honestly the last thing I wanted to be doing but I'm a team player so when I wrapped up what I was doing, that's what I got to work on. I cleared two shelves and had to wait for M to free up so he could move the shelves. He didn't ask me to do that and I certainly wasn't about to volunteer so I waited. And waited. And waited. He never got a moment. While I was doing the coolers 30 minutes before close, he asked me if I was okay to do the shelves tomorrow. I told him "I was going to suggest that, but I wanted to be a team player." while counting the drawer I offered to shoot A a text (she's the opening cashier) and let her know about the YETI shelves and M was like "you have her number? Yes, please!" I didn't want to just give her work off the clock so I told her if she wanted to, she can just leave it for me. I don't want to make it sound like I'm trying to be her boss or anything. But I did give her a heads up about it and that if she had any questions she could ask R. She's definitely going to be like "wtf is going on here" when she comes in because there's two carts of YETIs by the register and I didn't leave a note. She's really sweet though and we get along well so I don't think she'll be put off by it. We're always splitting tasks in the little bit of overlap that we have. I have to do Mom & Pop tomorrow and it was such a PITA last time that I really freaking don't want to, but I noticed it today and didn't feel like it, so I have to actually address it before my next day off. It's looking kinda bare. Oh, we had someone from a different store working today. Some old dude, white hair. He was cool, but the first thing he said to me was "Red, I see where the name comes from. I'm a sucker for redheads." I didn't know what to say so I just said "thanks!" but T laughed and told him to shut up. When he came back from lunch I made a comment about his choice of fast food and he was like "I was going to ask what you wanted but you were so busy up here! For the future, what's your favorite type of slushie?" I told him strawberry and he was like "I do have some fries here if you want those!" hell yes dude I will never say no to free fries. I thanked him and finished them in less than 5 minutes. I think he fancies me. I think it's sweet but I'm glad he's not from my store and I don't have to see him every shift because I'd have to pump the brakes on it eventually and I hate shutting people down it makes me feel like an asshole. But yes, I will take your fries. Honestly more people should offer me free French fries at work. Also, why's it always the old dudes that flirt with me? Whatever. I'm getting tired and running out of things to talk about. I'm really proud of my performance at work lately. I really think it's getting recognized and it makes me feel good and fulfilled. I really like my job and I hope they decide to give me more hours. Oh! I finally got to sell some squishies today, too! Instead of just telling kids no, we're out of stock. They're always calling and asking about those Needoh things. They go wild for those, when we do get them they barely stay on the shelf. We have a 2 per customer rule because of that. Today I kinda fudged that rule. I had a family of 3 kids come up and I wasn't about to tell them they could only get two to share between the three of them. I let them each pick one and I think mom even grabbed a couple too. They weren't trying to buy the whole case, so I used my best judgement. Happy to finally sell some though instead of having to be disappointing. I felt like a dealer today, haha. Um. What else... This morning the vape store didn't have my winter mint in the turbo so I got 2 of the regular ones. That shit cost me like $50 I'm never doing that again lmao. He said they were $22 a piece so that's why I justified it, then he said I'd get $5 off for buying two, and the total was $47 something. I guess tax was just stupid high. Because 2 at $22 is $44 minus $5 is $39. So where does $47 come from? Whatever. I wasn't going to argue it. I'll pay the convince fee of not having to have that interaction with a cashier. I fucking hate when people do that to me. Like idk dude it's what the computer says and I don't make the prices. I literally just work here. Buy it or don't. So yea, I don't want to do that to anybody else lmao. Unless it's a major discrepancy, idgaf just give me my shit, haha.

Alright, that's about it for the night. See ya tomorrow, maybe.

It's sarsasparilla Sunday! I've got mine chilling in the fridge right now :) I had a pretty okay day at work today. I didn't get a whole lot done. They gave me sales tags to put up for the YETIs and Stanleys but we didn't have the specific variation of ANY of them. At least I couldn't find them. I looked like three times. I mentioned it once to M and when I came back from break he was like "yea, you still got a lot of work here" and before I could clarify with him he got taken away by a customer. So I just kept looking. When C came in, I ran it by her a bit. I was like "M must think I'm an idiot, and maybe I am, but I couldn't find a single one of these variants. You're more than welcome to take a crack at it" and then I made a joke about her doing this a lot longer than I have been so I'm sure she'll figure it out. I'm pretty sure I'm going to come back in to no tags on the YETI wall though because I'm certain we don't have those variants. They were all for specific color, ounce, and straw. Which we usually had the color or the ounce right, but no straw. The Stanleys called for 40oz and we don't have a single 40oz Stanley in stock. Whatever. I tried haha. Today one of my old coworkers from my last job came in to visit me. She said she tried 4 times and this was the first time she caught me. She also said when she mentioned my name to the head cashier, CH, she got really unpleasant. Unpleasant. That was the word she used. I explained the whole cashier's list that I made for myself and the fiasco it caused and my old coworker was like "yep, she's definitely threatened by you" oh well. At least I'm doing my job well. What else happened today... A lady got kinda stinky with me for enforcing the 2 squishies limit rule. I don't know if I'm going to enforce that super hard anymore because when I pointed out the sign to C, she told me that she went off on A yesterday about them because A "lectured" her about the rule. I feel kinda bad for A. She's autistic and I don't think she was trying to lecture C but more so she's getting hung up on specifics and 'order'. I don't know though, I wasn't there so I can't say for sure. Maybe A was a total bitch. I doubt it, but maybe. I just feel bad because she's so freaking sweet and I never want her to feel bad ever. We're so similar and she's become a good friend of mine so I want to protect her at all costs, haha. Oh, JA was really nice this morning! He brought me some popcorn without me even asking. I usually always ask for popcorn when I'm opening on Sundays and I guess he's gotten used to the routine. He's a really nice dude. Things have been kinda weird between JE and myself lately. I'm not sure what did it but things just feel.. Off. Little better today though, more interaction than usual. But still kinda weird? We haven't texted in awhile but last time we did things were normal. I might be reading too much into stuff. She's also going through a lot of personal stuff so maybe I shouldn't take it so personally. This morning JA gave me R's discount because they removed me from the list. There were 2 people that had my name, myself and some ex employee, and when they went to remove the extra one, guess who they removed? Yup, me, lmao. So I haven't been getting my discount lately. They know about it though, I let them know when I figured it out, so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. Anyway I hope nobody gets in trouble for putting me under R's profile. He gets a wayyy bigger discount than I do. Oh. I realized the other day that soon, I'll be driving myself and my stuff back to my dad's house. All by myself. That's so scary to me lol. It's exciting scary. I'll be 27 this month and I've never had a car or a license and I'm honestly terrified. The closer it gets, more and more butterflies hatch in my tummy. I gotta stop eating caterpillars. Ya, that's a cuter way to say I'm kinda shitting myself over all this car stuff. But you get my point. This is something I've never done and honestly gave up on the idea of ever doing. And now it's happening and I'm trying not to freak out. That's really all I have going on for now. I might add some more later. If I don't, hasta luego amigos!
